How to use Rosemary Oil to help with hair growth

Daily massage
For a daily massage to stimulate new growth, add two drops of rosemary oil to one ounce of carrier oil such as jojoba oil. Rub into the scalp for three minutes before showering.
Hot Oil Treatment once or twice a week
Once a week use a hot oil treatment for your hair and scalp. You will need three tablespoons of carrier such as jojoba oil and 5 drops of rosemary essential oil. Mix the carrier oil and rosemary essential oil in a small glass jar that can be sealed. Place the jar in a bowl of  boiled water until the oil is warm. Gradually massage the entire amount using your fingertips into your dry scalp for several minutes. Make sure to apply a little blend down the length of your hair until the ends. Wrap your hair with plastic wrap or plastic shower cap, and then cover it with a very warm damp towel. Replace with another warm towel once the first one has cooled. Leave the blend for at least 30-45. You can stay with it overnight, and if you do this, remove the plastic wrap and sleep with a dry towel on your pillow to absorb the oil. Then rinse and lightly shampoo your hair with a chemical free shampoo. Follow with conditioner if you want.
This will also leave your hair smooth and manageable.  Great for permed and natural hair.

    Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has been used for centuries as a vital source of food for health and general well being in traditional communities of tropical regions. Recent research verifies traditional beliefs that the coconut palm is “The Tree of Life” and that, just like any other pure, whole food, coconut and virgin coconut oil have a significant role to play in a well balanced, nutritious diet as well as skin care.

Coconut oil will absorb easily, keep the skin soft, and yet without feeling greasy.  It is not like other oils used to soften rough, dry skin.  It will help to reduce chronic skin inflammation within days and be soothing and healing to wounds, blood blisters, rashes, etc.

It is wonderful to use as a hair conditioner.  It softens the hair and conditions the scalp.  Using the coconut oil as a pre-wash conditioner can rid a person of dandruff better than a medicated shampoo.

The best type of coconut oil is in it's purest form, so when shopping for coconut oil make sure it is 100% pure organic.
